Where to buy decent netbooks from?

What UK stores do people recommend for looking for decent netbooks? Can be online only if needed.

I was looking for an 10-12" netbook with a 768p display and decent battery life but while I can find lots of models available in US stores, stores in the UK either seem to have dropped netbooks like hot potatoes or only offer weak atom-based models. The HP 4125 seems to be the sole exception over here.

    Cheers

The definition of netbook IS a weak atom-based or similar CPU.... are you really after a more capable netbook sized machine i.e. an ultrabook ?

As for screens, most do tend to have the "standard" 1024x600 screens, that 600 vertical res often annoys me when using them.

well the amd fusion (e450 etc) aren't deamed a netbook, they usually fall under full fat laptops... theres loads on amazon if you type in amd e450 laptop or look under laptops on pcworld.. I know of hp, samsung, acer, asus and sony all fitting in your criteria off the top of my head

look around for better prices obviously

Just remember to put in an SSD too - really transforms many netbooks.

    Ta. Spot on.

Thanks for the other replies too - yes, I'm looking for a 10-12" ultra portable PC around £300.. I had previously called them netbooks, guess I should just call them really small, cheap, laptops?

Ultrabooks seem to be something different though - much more expensive.
