I'm sorely tempted by one of these little buggers now.. but i think i'm going to wait until MacWorld to see what kind of competition it's up against and CES as they're purportedly putting in WiMAX and some other stuff on the second gen ones. Plus, i want to see what the best options for external hard drives are - considering getting a 2.5" and a caddy. Still, Morrowind on the move is pretty awesome! From what I know of Bluetooth it is a very cheap technology and uses a small chip so it wouldn't have bumped the price much or taken much space up. Anyone know why there isn't any Bluetooth built in? Would love to buy one of these but I'd want to add more storage (SD cards?) and up the RAM. |

| Re: EEE PC Users unite...and share info :) Using 0511 bios here and so far its running great although it does look like the battery is taking a hit. I'm using nlite'd XP on mine and the one I bought for the missus is running the default linux OS. In fact she buggered her one up somehow and I ran her through the restore from the backup partition, and I was seriously impressed how quickly it did it - im sure it was a couple of mins, if that  Also found a great use for this at night, helping me do that boring journal research that i've been putting off for months. sorry for the bad pic   |
