adobe manager.exe startup error?

this afternoon when i turned my laptop on i got and when i reached to the desktop i got a error about adobe manager, saying that it won't run or can't locate the file. It tells me that to remove this error by removing it from the regisrty but i dont know which adobe registy to delete! i am really confused and don't know what to do. By the way i am running vista home premium.

run "msconfig"
Choose the startup tab, find the entry and untick it, that will stop it from loading.

Alternatively download "Autoruns" which is a bit like MSConfig, but more advanced. This will show you were its being loaded from so you can remove the reference totally if MSConfig doesn't.

hijackthis may be an easy option, as its a case of tick the adobe entry and click fix

agent: i have unticked all adobe options in msconfig and did a restart but still that manager problems continues. I installed Autorun but i couldn't any adobe entries.

ZoNz0: i ran hijackthis but couldn't find the adobe entry.

The only adobe program i have installed adobe acrobat.
I know its some where in the registry but the problem is i don't know which one.

i cant see adobe, but wth is lphcecoj0ep32.exe

unless you know what it is i would run some spyware scans

well i couldn't solve the problem so i did a system restore and guess what... that adobe thing doesn't bother me no more!!!

GoNz0 i dont know what that is etheir but the log pasted is before i did a system restore. That .exe file doesn't show up no more.

On starting my laptop, I get an error message “….cannot find c:user…..\appdata\roaming\Adobe\Manager.exe”

tried to use previous advices as above but unfortunately it didn’t work!

two things I need to mention:

1- I located the manager.exe file in adobe sub-folder (…appdata>roaming>adobe>manager.exe) tried to run it?! but didn’t work..tried to delete it & restart, also didn’t work!!

2- Couldn’t find that file in the startup registery to uncheck? where could it be..I have run the msconfig.exe

n.b: i also tried to run regcure software but it didn’t fix it?

I would be very grateful for your advice regarding what could be done next?,

try installing unlocker to get rid of it then reinstall a good copy

Many thanks; it transpired that a virus caused this problem..I have run a virus removal software which luckily fixed the problem..
