|  Looking for good Music player. Hey all, my windows media player is all screwed up  and i'm just looking for a music software thats free and plays music with less recourses used possible. I was thinking WinAmp or whatever its called but I dunno. Remember I need something that doesnt use a lot of recourses on my comp because I hate how media player was doing that on my comp.Thanks for the help guys! |

| Go with winamp... works ok for me and definately uses less resources than WMP, for a no frills type of player you could try Foobar2000. Curly Last edited by Curly; 18-02-2005 at 07:23 AM.. |

| Winamp doesnt have half the bloatware of WMP. If you really want a low resource version, use Winamp 2.0 - before they put the minibrowser and video playing shenanegans into it  |

| it says "Type of File: Windows Media Audio file" The other ones that DO work for winamp say this... "Type of File: Winamp media file". I was wondering how to change the files that are windows media audio to winamp. |
