| Hi, any of you Onetel.net ISP customers who use their email services having problems with setting up your pop3 accounts in outlook express? because i am i have been to their site and entered all the settings and allowed accessed to outlook express in my firewall but yet my settings are still not working basically i have a isp account ending in .net so my pop settings should be: pop.onetel.net smtp.onetel.net is this right?because something isn't correct.... it would be very useful if the HeXuS folks out their who have Onetel.net email accounts and use either outlook express or thunderbird could post their settings (lol obviously not passwords/usernames but to basically provide a helpfull example0 Because i am currently HATING using their web based email service to view and send emails thankyou for any insights ![]() EDIT: would the OneCare Have caused this?as its very unstable and keeps crashing when trying to test email settings after failure in outlook... | You said you have allowed access in your firewall - that is ports 25 and 110 for SMTP and POP... Is that a router firewall or a soft firewall? (zone alarm/Kerio or similar) Is YOUR system up to Folding? Useful Information about HEXUS There are 10 types of people who understand binary - those that do... and those that don't. |

| You only need to disable it for 30 seconds to do a quick send and receive... If it works with the FW doisabled, you will know it is a firewall configuration issue. Yes, there is a small risk by doing so, but it will help the fault finding procedure. Is YOUR system up to Folding?
