    Quick Query on XP OEM

For my custom built machine back last year I purchased a copy of Windows XP Home OEM. Now another year has passed and I wish to upgrade (due to technical difficulties ¬_¬) I am replacing the Motherboard/CPU and DVDRW. Will I still be able to use the same copy of XP OEM or will I need to purchase a new copy

The official MS answer is that a new mobo constitutes a new system & therefore requires a new licence.
