    1st trip abroad with a 3 year old

    well 3 and a half by the time we go next year so Lucy should be old enough not to scream the plane down!

    wondering where to go for a weeks holiday 2-3 hours flight form the UK.

    planning to head out in May, somewhere around 20-25 degrees as anything over that and i break out in hives!

    Family orientated and very close to the beach is a must!

    no where near drunken nighclubs as well, so Magaluf is well out!

    any personal recommendations hexites ?

    Depends what you're after, we've been away with Jack when he was 2/3/4 to Ibiza, get a hotel with a kids club anywhere away from San Antonio West End and you're laughing. As Ibiza is so small you can travel around to the nicer parts of the island too and/or hire a car to get about.

    Ibiza is perfect! Just got back a few weeks ago...of course we (lads) went out and got stuck in....but I was there a few days early, and was able to explore the island a bit more, beautiful, with amazing beaches.

    Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. Went there a couple of years ago with our son who was ~ 3. It's family friendly and has loads of ramps for buggies etc.
