    DayZ.....

at night , in the forest, at night, this game is probably the most intense experience for a pc game i`ve had for quite a while (hoping the new aliens game might be similar)...

dont suppose anyone is playing it?

    Re: DayZ.....

I didn't give Day-Z a spin yet but its got indeed pretty popular.I'm not into zombies stuff very much but this looks fun! The best part though is when you get tired of zombies there always will be arma and mods like ACE. Just good stuff.

    Re: DayZ.....

I've seen a couple of videos on this, totalbiscuit did a wtf is? combined with an interview of the guy who started it.

The way it uses a sort of peer-to-peer structure rather than a more traditional server-client structure is interesting, but does seem to have some major connection/lag issues
When it's a survival game with rather limited ammo which makes lag jumping enemies a rather major issue in my book.
still for what is basically a mod started by one person it does look really good.

    Re: DayZ.....

I've been watching this for a while, am tempted to buy ARMAII just so I can play it actually. It reminds me of Stalker somewhat, it would have been great if that had featured decent coop multiplayer.

Dayz is still in alpha stages? Can only get better, I'll wait until I can pick up ARMA 2 CO for £3.75 on steam.

I absolutely love DayZ, although I record it for YouTube, so can't play it that much.

    Re: DayZ.....

I played a bit the other day and ended up doing a benny hill style run through the woods being chased by a load of zombies

Saw some brilliant videos where someone has decided to play he game as a psychopath stalking people.

    Re: DayZ.....

This gaming really does make you on edge. It's brought ArmA 2 back to life!

I've put some vids together and doing a bit of a follow us story on it. We've got some really epic moments when we went stalking this crazy chick. (In game obviously!!)

    Re: DayZ.....

Oh and you might like to download an app called "Dayz Commander"

I've done a small review on it. It's much better than the Six Updater.
