    Packard Bell iMax D3413

Hello ... I have been to PC World today and have fallen in love with a particular PC case, the Packard Bell iMax D3413.

Well, this one comes only as a complete system, but I'm not interested in this PC but only in the mATX PC case.
It looks awesome but I'm afraid I won't be able to purchase the case only ...

If anyone has any idea ... please let me know. Any help is so much appreciated ...

I really really like it ... what could I do ...

That case may not be mATX, it has 3 expansion slots where mATX has 4. It could be a flex ATX system or just designed with 4 slots.

I'm sure enough searching would find a case worth buying.. has to be mATX and gloss black?

    Re: Packard Bell iMax D3413

Well, I have made already my mind up with the Silverstone SG01 mATX case.
I'm just crazy enough to go for a second case, if I would get the chance ... I find 98% of all pc cases (from what I have seen so far) just plain ugly, and considering that this one caught my eye - that means something.

What people often don't understand is that design & looks does matter a lot to some people ... I am an eye person through and through.

Yeah, it has to be mATX but I don't like piano black at all. If I get this case, I would spend good money to put a high quality painting coat over the black plastic parts ... possibly dark red.

I have my own ideas and quite vivid images about what I like to see. Modding won't do it unfortunately. But as life is full of compromises I have to accept what's available and the SG01 has grown closest to me.

See, it's a personal thing ... funny enough the CPU cooler's design for example is as important. Couldn't accept an ugly b*tch cooling my Wolfdale, even if that is the best cooler in the world ... I don't care.

    You think I'm strange ? Let's say I'm different ...
