Kalniel: "Nice review Tarinder - would it be possible to get a picture of the case when the components are installed (with the side off obviously)?"
CAT-THE-FIFTH: "The Antec 300 is a case which has an understated and clean appearance which many people like. Not everyone is into e-peen looking computers which look like a cross between the imagination of a hyperactive 10 year old and a Frog."
TKPeters: "Off to AVForum better Deal - £20+Vat for Free Shipping @ Scan"
for all intents it seems to be the same card minus some gays name on it and a shielded cover ? with OEM added to it - GoNz0.

Nice result Fraz. Just a shame Intel still hasn't brought that chip down to 'mere mortal' price range.

It seems that the Core i7 980X is showing all those young socket 1155 Core i7 whippernsappers how it should be done!!

The Phenom II X6 does very well considering how much it costs!!

    Second post now updated!!

I run this 100% loaded 24/7, and my study is hot enough as it is.

Although in fairness, I pretty much never have it at 4.5 GHz anymore. The Vcore required is just a bit too scary for long-term use. I guess this is my default speed nowadays. If I can be bothered, I might retry it at 4.5 GHz, but since I'm top anyhow...

It seems the Core i5 2500k is faster than a Core i7 920 and Phenom II X6 1055T at stock speeds in HandBrake.
