Apple-like keyboard and mouse for Windows PC

I currently have an Apple Magic Mouse and Apple Wireless Keyboard that I use with my Mac. For my recent PC build I bought a cheap and cheerful Logitech MK270 mouse and keyboard combo for around £20. Obviously this is a product built to a budget price and feels like it, but it has served me well for my PC build.

However, I'm accustomed to the quality of my Apple keyboard and mouse which is truly remarkable. In the past I've used Cherry keyboards on PCs but I don't know if they're still doing fantastic keyboards.

Any recommendations for an excellemt keyboard and mouse (wireless) for a PC that is up to the standards of Apple's keyboard and mouse?

After a bit of research I know that I can use my existing Apple keyboard and mouse with my Windows PC, but this would not work ideally for me as I often have both machines on at the same time, plus I wouldn't have all of the PC-specific keys on it.

Most high end keyboards are wired, especially in UK layout, so the requirement for wireless cuts down your options. As far as I know something like a Topre Realforce is only available in wired in the UK.

    Filco Convertible 2 maybe?

Mouse-wise most of the mid-range stuff feels pretty sorted, if you want a fancy capacitive-top then I think Microsoft offers some options in that department.

Yes, wireless is a must to avoid desk clutter. I switch between the Mac and the PC several times a day and store the PC keyboard and mouse away elsewhere in the room to keep my desk tidy. I'd struggle with a wired connection. I'll check out your link, so thanks for that.

Well I would definitely get a wired mechanical keyboard for this price point but considering you're preferences, I think this'll suit your needs.

Doesn't the Apple gear just use bluetooth? Can't you just buy an Apple mouse and keyboard?

I could do, but I'd miss out on some Windows-specific keys and also the numeric keypad. In the the game I play often, X-Plane 11, the numeric keypad is used to store camera views. The wireless Apple keyboard doesn't have a dedicated numeric keypad.

Re: Apple-like keyboard and mouse for Windows PC

Microsoft's Surface and Modern Keyboards are very similar to an Apple keyboard. The Modern Keyboard includes a really cool hidden fingerprint reader that can be used to logon to your PC.

Modern Keyboard (US-only, but Amazon.com ships to the UK).

There are several good reviews of the Surface Keyboard on YouTube.
