XMS platinum problem
I have 2x512 corsair XMS platinum sticks, PC3200 CAS2. I recently reinstalled windows XP, came to turn on again and it wouldn't pass the post screen. Tried with one stick, it worked, with the other it didn't even start up, just bleeped repeatedly, and with both as I said it wouldn't pass post. What's the policy, should I post you the defective stick?

You can RMA directly to Corsair. If your memory is a TwinX kit, please return both DIMMs so that you get a matched and tested pair in return. In the link below, the TSX Express is the best option.

Thanks Yellowbeard
I must say, the step which asks me to use memtest is a bit annoying. There's no option that says - 'my computer won't even boot with the damn thing, so I couldn't memtest it' 111108 |

Is there a way to bypass that step? If not, tell a little "white lie" and move ahead.

Hey Yellowbeard,
Um, i'm wondering what's going on with my RMA basically. I sent it 'signed for international' with RM, and that was on 29th March. I haven't had a peep from Corsair, not even an email to say they had recieved it. Should I have had confirmation by now? Any way of chasing this up? My rig's limping along on 512 at the mo, which ain't much fun... Case #111286 RMA Number R241940 Cheers |

Hmm, you know much...
I just want to say that i'm a bit disappointed that i'm required to pay through the nose to get an answer, as i'm at uni and have no land line from which to call. It surprises me that there's not a Corsair Europe number or something. |
