    corsair 2gb dominator 4 4 4 12

    im thinkin about gettin the corsair 2 x 1gb dominator 4 4 4 12 ram, anyone have this and what are your opinions on it?

    Unless you need the cooling that the fins give, go for the XMS 2 version as it is the same product. Yes I have the Dominator version so I ma not slagging off the Dominators.

    If it's for the PC listed under "My system" there would be virtually no advantage for swapping the RAM. Timings make very little difference on Core 2.

    no it aint, thts the pc im buildin but its wrong i need to change it , i doubt i need the cooling i suppose, the antec 900 is full of fans so it should be ok.

    Well for a 2GB of PC6400 5-5-5-15 RAM you can pay as little as £60 now, have a look in the bargains forum there are stacks of threads about it.
