TWIN2X2048-6400 - timings

2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-12

Trying to get the timings in my Abit QuadGT correct, before starting overclocking. I want to get the "base-line" settings done (inc. 1:1 FSB/RAM ratio) that should I need to, just roll back to:-

CAS latency (tCL) = 5
RAS to CAS delay(tRCD) = 5
RAS precharge (tRP) = 5
precharge delay (tRAS) = 15 (or 12?)
command rate = 2T
refresh cycle time (tRFC) = ? (currently left as 'auto' seeing as I don't know).
voltage = ? (currently going off 1.9v based on Corsair product info).

Please can somebody confirm what the "refresh cycle time (tRFC)" should be, or just leave alone as "auto".

Also, confirm it as 1.9v (before doing any voltage changes).

1.9v is great and you can safely go up to 2.1v if needed. Leave the tRFC at AUTO.

Well all working a-ok with the Corsair PSU and RAM

Bit of a problem on initial first boot outside of the case (m/board, CPU, RAM & GFX card). In that it seemed I had to get all of those components in first for a successful first boot.

Don't know why, but it seemed that having enough "load" on the PSU got it to initially fire up and has been stable since (no voltage problems or anything).

RAM has been fine, I needed to know the base settings before I do anything else. As it is, got the FSB/RAM at 1:1 and overclocked the e6600 to 3.15 ghz safely.

Just got an issue with the Artic Freezer Pro 7 now (vibration I think) - don't much like this Intel plastic push-snap Heat Sink Fan arrangement - not when you're dangling something that big perpendicular to the motherboard!
