ga-p35-s3 and corsair ram compatible?
Hi,
initially I was worried that the ram and mobo voltages were illmatched but was assured with the help of people in the scan forum that voltages were ok. But then I just thought I could ask here if anyone knows if the ram and mobo are a good or bad match I can't find anything on the corsair configurator. Gigabyte GA P35-S3 and 2GB (2x1GB) CorsairTwinX XMS2, DDR2 PC2-6400 (800), 240 Pins, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 5-5-5-12 Thanks for any help ![]() |

That memory should work great with that board.

Re: ga-p35-s3 and corsair ram compatible?
I know I already said thanks ... but I got it up and running and there was no need to worry ( so far...fingers crossed).
I just put it in and booted to bios - but it had already set it too 800mhz and I just left the volts on auto. Cheers Yellowbeard. |

Re: ga-p35-s3 and corsair ram compatible?
Very cool. If you do have any instabilities, try 1.9v to 2.1v on the RAM as it is rated to run at 1.9v and can take up to 2.1v within warranty spex.
