    RMA Dual Channel RAM

DO I have to RMA both sticks even when it is only one stick that is faulty?

If you bought them as a pair, yes you need to RMA both. That way, we can be 100% that you get a matched and tested pair in return.

I don't remember the pairing they memory was in. So is there a way of checking to see which modules are paired?

Look at the stickers, they have the lot codes on them. If they are all 4 from the EXACT some lots, the stickers will be exactly the same.

Everything is the same expect one string of numbers, 6 numbers in total.

Edit: Is RAM affected from static electricity?

Yes, it can be. Also, I am not clear on what you are saying about the numbers. Can you post pictures of all 4 modules?

I don't have a camera, bit I did find this. You have the first 6 numbers at the bottom which are different for all 4 then you have the next string of digits which are the same for all 4.

I see 2 stickers on that memory and the white sticker to the left is not ours. And, I'm sorry but I still cannot tell what numbers you are referring to. Try this:

    Here we are.

The numbers underlined by the red line, are the numbers that change for all 4. While the numbers underlined by the blue line are constant for all 4.

OK, can you list all of these numbers for each of the 4 modules?

Since those are from the same lot, technically it will not matter. However, I'd suggest you return it with number 005165. If you have an issue with your RMA, let me know. Sorry you had the failed DIMM.
