Question Could apparently different modules work satisfactorily?

Can I be happy with these two DDR2-800 modules:

    CM2X2048-64005DHX in Slot 1
    and
    CM2X2048-64005 in Slot 3

Should I take the 2nd module back to my retailer?
    .or.
Could they get a 100% performance (or near..) working together?

CPU-Z shows the Timmings Frequency is only 400MHz, and Windows recognizes about 3GB RAM only.

    Many many thanks in advance!

    Here´s my system:

    Core 2 Duo E6600 2,4GHz | ASUS P5B Premium Vista Edition | 2x2GB DDR2-800 Corsair | 400 GB Seagate | GFORCE 8800 GTS 320MB | PSU FONTE Spire 600W | Vista 32 bits

The only way to know is to use it and test and mixing memory can be unpredictable.

Yes, those are different modules. On a dual channel MOBO you need to EXACTLY match the memory in both type and revision. If your reseller can sell you an IDENTICAL module, then that should be OK. Otherwise, I would suggest that you get a TwinX pair as they are prematched for you.

Would you please give more information on that, I only know about XMS2.. is it a DDR2-800 module? Sorry for easy questions, but they´re very important to me..

The Twin2X means it is a prematched pair of the modules, tested by Corsair and verified to work together in a dual channel MOBO:

    yet no link friend
I have some news: I was told my 2 modules differ only about heat cooling, the DHX meaning a "cooler" one, is that right? And then they would work togheter well

This is bizarre, it seems as if the link is being blocked or stripped from the post.
