2nd lot of RAM faulty after Replacement from US

    hi, guys,

If anyone on here is from Corsair can you advise me on a problem im having ive RMA'ed back to corsair 2gb DDR2 XMS3 5400 twice and both times i have had ram now sent which has got different faults, initially the ram when installed caused machine to be unstable and when tested in memtest gave massive errors. They exchanged after RMA'ed

The Ram i have now recieved is giving Blue Screens when installed. I have put in another set of Corsair ram and it is working fine, so its looking like the Ram again.

Is there any chance if i send this faulty ram back i can get a refund on postage as its getting close to the cost of the ram if you tot up all the postage.

Anyone got any experience with refunds etc?

    Cheers

It's rare to get a total of 3 bad sets of memory from us. Can you provide more information on your system, the other RAM you are using that works, how you determined the RAM to be faulty, and also list ALL the settings you have made in the bios for voltages, RAM, and CPU.

Definitely post up your BIOS set up here and Yellowbeard can help you out. Top bloke Very helpful once you give enough information to help with the hardware fault finding (or software/setup).
