Very useful summary - although clearly aimed at getting people to upgrade to 4GB....

Have been doing a few upgrades recently on older DDR1 systems and going from 512 to 2GB for example is instantly noticeable - and so was 1GB to 3GB. I guess there is saturation at some point and extra memory added has less of an additional effect.

Yes, and a good example is 8gb. Lots of users are asking about our 8gb testing but, we simply are not seeing any advantages yet for most people.
