To Dominate or not To Dominate? This is a quick question about memory. I am wondering whether I should purchase: Corsair XMS3 6GB (3x2GB) DDR3 PC3-12800C7 (1600MHz) Tri-Channel (TR3X6G1600C7) (that's got 7-7-7-20 latencies and 1T command rate) or Corsair Dominator DDR3, PC3-12800 (1600), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 8, DHX, EPP The only difference is the latencies, and the heatspreader. Which should I buy? Last edited by bug850-4300; 02-07-2009 at 08:59 PM..

Re: To Dominate or not To Dominate I would get this Corsair Dominator DDR3, PC3-12800 (1600), 240 Pin, Non-ECC Unbuffered, CAS 8, DHX, EPP I have this and it is superb ram works very well at low voltages and overclocks well too. And looks the business you will not be dissapoined.

Re: To Dominate or not To Dominate all depends on how much the price differnce is, latencies wont make a hell of a lot of differnce unless your benchmarking especalliy by one tick rate (if thats what the differnce is between these two) tbh i always go for the coolest looking ram/latency/hurtz/brand within my price range but yeah thats just me..

Re: To Dominate or not To Dominate by that reasoning, anything "better" should be worth getting over your originally planned copmonent... RAM are all the same tbh (well kind of), unless your doing crazy overclocks, you wont notice the differnce one bit IMO there is not a whole lot of difference between those two sets you seem dead set on gettin the dominators anyway, get them and post pics!
