    Left-Handed gaming mice for disabled users - recommendations please

    I'm looking for a left-handed gaming mouse/gaming solution for a relative. He's had a couple of accidents that have left his right hand 'nerfed' as gamers would say, and has to use his left hand for the mouse with the right offering limited keystroke functions.

    I'm going to see if I can get him into the game World of Tanks, as an MMO it's slow moving enough that strategy and teamwork can overcome teenagers fps-standard reflexes, so he might get a bit of enjoyment out of it.

    I'm looking for a left handed mouse with a lot of buttons that could offer WASD functions. Unfortunately these seem a little thin on the ground, the only one i've come across is the Razer Deathadder which had limited buttons and the Logitech MX610 which has lots of buttons but I cant find in stock anywhere.

    Any recommendations, suggestions and ideas welcome.

    Can't you just swap the buttons over for most mice in the control panel ?
    Cheers, David

    You can, but it wont solve the issue here.

    Most gaming mice are both contoured and have their extra button arrangements suited for right handed users, allowing for the thumb to access many of the extra buttons. Dosen't work so well for for lefties as they would have to use their pinkies to control the extra buttons.

    Here's an example, look at this Razer Naga gaming mouse;

    Here's the Razer Deathadder, left handed version;

    As you can see, on the left-handed edition, there are two buttons accessible by the thumb.

    It only has one button either side, and a scroll wheel (alongside the default left and right click) but i am using a Microsoft Wireless Mouse 5000 in my left hand. It also has the side scrolling wheel, maybe that can be configured for WASD commands?

    Irreleent to having a bad hand, it's the dogs AND while the space key will be close to useless the left COntrol button is easy hit with a thumb
