I got the g9x and the g500s. They about as good as each other but because of the feel I pay mainly with the g500s.

I swear by Logitech there customer service is brilliant

G500 and G5. I never tried the G9x, it looked to fancy for me.

If you don't mind the rubberized top and buttons that in my opinion peel off after long term use, then go for the M65. It's a really good mouse that I used for just two weeks before giving it back for a GX1000 Eagle Eye and that's entirely because of my weakness for ROG gear and the top of the mouse is made of brushed aluminum. Check my unboxing of it here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FA9u-HCsCOA

The Corsair m40/m45 are excellent value for money on amazon (about £43). I personally have the m40 from a few months back, still works just like the day I bought it and the 2 macro buttons on the side of the mouse as so useful for in game commands

I've been using the 'LUPO 2.4GHz 2000 dpi Mouse' for years, cheap and brilliant for gaming. For only £15 you can't go wrong!

The Roccat Kone Pure is a great mouse, however it's small so I wouldn't recommend that for the OP (someone with pretty large hands and uses a palm grip). I've tested this mouse and I had to switch to a claw grip to use it.

The Roccat Kone XTD, however, fit perfectly and was very comfortable, so comfortable that I bought it and it's a brilliant mouse with so many functions. It's the best mouse I've owned. It cost me £50, but it was well worth the money. Other mice I own are Microsoft Intellimouse 4 and 3.0a and Razer DeathAdder.

I would recommend the Roccat Kone XTD (if you can find it cheap £50~ on Amazon), or the Razer DeathAdder (with the pre-Razer Synapse drivers) for FPS.

Keep an eye on prices, you might be able to get a Logitech g602 or proteus g502 on sale, both amazing mouses!

The Razer Deathadder is generally considered one of the best for people with large hands, I still cannot comfortably palm it though due to my pinky not resting on the right side grip, but slightly further forward on the glossy surface. I personally use the Mamba, which was a massive improvement over the Deathadder 2012, but have not tried the 2013.
The only thing I can recommend is to go to your local store and try them out. If you live in London, you could try out the 'Gaming Bunker' at PCWorld in Tottenham Court Road. They have a decent selection of peripherals and consoles out on display so you could try out.

If you find something better that isn't made by Razer, let me know, starting to dislike them.

I use a Steelseries Sensei RAW and its the better than the Razer Death Adder i had before. The driver suite is really good, lots of customisable options. Its light and ambidextrous. Would definitely recommend it in the under £50 range.

I would have to say the Death adder is the best mouse I've used, with the Logitech G5 a close second.

I loved the Rocat Kone, but the scroll wheel failure meant it was in the post more time than I used it. After the 3rd failure I smashed it into tiny pieces with a hammer and sent it off for RMA, never to be seen again.

Razer deathadder, Logitech g500/S and all zowie mice track extremely well, just depending on shape, weight and that sort of jazz.

Either a Razer Deathadder or a Steelseries Sensei would be my choice
