Is anyone getting phantom pain on the pc? This game looks epic.
I must admit, it does look pretty amazing... but!
Outside of organised matches between dedicated teams, this will more than likely be a horrendous game to play casually as a huge percentage of FPS players these days couldn't care less about tactics and just want to get as many kills as they can.
I'm pretty sure its third person. mgo is one of those games where if you don't even utilise basic tactics and pay attention to the environment, you will get f****d. What's more exciting than mgo for me is the bases you custom make which can be invaded by friends etc.
FPS, TPS, almost all competitive multiplayer games are very similar in the fact that players want their k:d ratios to be better than anyone else's and they will play to that end, tactics be damned.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not putting the game down, it looks amazing, but I have played many games online where using tactics normally results in wins, yet it doesn't stop people running and gunning, dying, respawning, and then running and gunning again over and over to get the most kills, regardless of if the team wins or loses.
Playing in clans and/or with friends though would be good.
Yeah i suppose there will always be people that care about kills over objectives but run and gunners will do **** in mgo. Traps etc are a big part of mgo. In the video you see that if you walk in the path of the puppy doll your player will get distracted for a little while. In the previous you could set not just normal claymores but sleep proximity bombs that knock you out for a while, so you can't run and gun in this game.
Having a hexus clan would be great!
