    Recently played Arma 3..

Anyone played this? Can see me sinking a lot of hours in to this.

This game has one heck of a learning curve to it. And the sounds the game produces is immense.

Was on this with some gaming buddies since I'm suspended from GTA Online . Anyways, we were trying to capture an objective. Had someone acting as a spotter who spotted some enemies, as I was equipped as Recon with rifle and scope. I tried but failed miserably to snipe lol.

Next thing I hear is a RPG being fired, and it was LOUD lol, I think this game can be really immersive.

Would recommend it to others as there is a TON of content which is free!

I bought it when it was in Alpha I think, played it once. It is amazingly accurate, but I have never played it since. Might have to pop on and give it a try again. If I can tear myself away from Diablo 3 and GTA V!

I'm going to do the Bootcamp tonight to get the hang of it. Flying the chopper using the Mouse and Keyboard is insane! It's the same chopper that I had in GTA 5.

Can see me sinking a lot of hours into this. Man! Ever since I've upgraded my PC, I've barely touched my XBO lol!

Network performance for some mods can annoy me, plus there's obviously a lot of bugs, which is normal for the series. But yeah, there's hours of tense, immersive fun to be had. Been thinking about getting back into it for a while now and this post has made me wanna play it even more.

Anyone know any good zombie survival mods that aren't Breaking Point?

Haven't played for a while, but have seen it's been getting plenty of updates.

I really, really wish it would work with VR. Would be incredible if you could put up with the simulation sickness.

yea me too but the problem with this game is that you need to be in an organised squad or clan to get the best of this game

Pretty sure there is a Arma 3 Discord group?

Even so... Hexus has its own Discord group, if we get the numbers 2/3 onwards, I'm sure we could jump on. Sometimes I play wasteland solo, going a sniper at my own pace and looking for targets.

    Re: Recently played Arma 3..

ARMA 2 held me for nearly 18 months.

Was amazing but it was SOOOO buggy and slow online with mates. Dreadful

was incredible to yomp over miles of Russian map, or grab a mountain bike and flank a position. The problem was, however, that upclose the grass showed.. but from a distance it didn't... so people laying "in cover" were visible from half a mile away. Silly really.

Great helicopters.. and ability to hover over a vehicle and pick it up and carry it to a forward positon for future spawns

Awesome but ultimately flawed to hell back then
