    Nikon releases new 300MM/F4 which is half the weight of the previous version!

    It appears to use a Phase Fresnel element to help reduce the size of the lens:

    It will cost around $2000,which equates to around £1300 excluding VAT(remember exchange rates have crashed too).

    Not bad feature set, built in WiFi is nice to see (I paid an extra £70 for the SD card for my K-3) and I hope the LiveView works better, as it's often pauses for 2-3 seconds on my k-3 with any phone/tablet/laptop I've tried.

    It's interesting as well because they focus on weight, it's the lightest DSLR made, so long as you ignore the ones that are lighter, because they don't have flippy screen.
