We have sports day this week and we've all had to sign disclaimers to allow people to take pictures - completely ridiculous in my opinion but I can see why.
i didn't for this event, but then i made sure all the shot i took were either of a) my son or b) adult looking competators.

i am now the official event photographer for this particular group, so i can take photos of all the competitors

    my submission for today

Took a trip to Kielder Resevior, up on the England Scotland border with the family today. Weather was pretty murky, so didn't take many shots at all, and the number of keepers can be counted on a single hand. Only this one worth posting in my opinion, a Foxglove, fresh from the incessant drizzle we had. Best I'll get without a macro lens (this was taken with a 55-200mm Nikon).

    Thanks!

    Photoshop work, or photography work?

Here's some more from a recent wedding in Strathblane, Milngavie

I'm now on a Canon A700 and itching to change up again.

    Baby Zak

I seem to have a rather limited subject matter at the moment! ...not the sharpest of shots, but I thought he was looking rather angelic!!

I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking.

mycarwavw both! could have been better to wait for the the little guy to move past the branch before taking the pic.. and can be saved with a little photoshop work to take the branch out

liking the landscape - the bird looks like it lacking detail, is it a heavy crop?

Sair lovely caputre of your little boy! the processing makes it look like a 60/70's photograph

merdat well done on finding a hedgehog during the day, and having it sit still long enough to get a photo! had one in the garded the other night, but the time i'd got my camera out the little guy had buggered off!!

sorry all i have is wedding photos atm

Noted and thanks, I may attack that later

As for the bird not really a heavy crop, the original has some more hand and a bit of shoulder in it. I'll upload it when I get home this evening. Scenery was gorgeous but my photography skills and camera just couldn't do it justice
