Re: Photo-a-day
Odd you should say that. This weekend was spent unjamming the garage door because someone had opened it, crushing the birds and the nest and winding them round the roller a few times - not a nice job. No pics either

Re: Photo-a-day
Well, I'm just back from having spent my first weekend at the Nurburgring. A truly terrifying yet awesome experience.
Couple of shots. Taken in convoy with a load of Porsches and Ferraris. The sound of those Challenge Stradales is something to behold ![]() ![]() And the ubiquitous Ring Taxi. Utter M5 ness![]() Edit: have to admit I find motorsport photography the most challenging so far. Trying to take at slow enough shutter speed so you get a bit of wheel blur, yet manage to track the target perfectly so the car is sharp takes an awful lot more practice and technique than I anticipated. I've been taking car photos with good glass so can't blame the kit for bad results

Re: Photo-a-day
not bad
your macro work is getting better all the time (just need the eyes in focus next time ) try reducing your aperture somewhere around f11
