Re: Photo-a-day
That made me laugh, 'cause I'd deliberately not desaturated it after the wife giving me grief for some kiddy photos that I did it to (while bumping up the vignetting) to give it that fairytale look. I think that shot is almost straight from camera.
Like the deer shot btw....is that grain or rain? Nice concept...what lens? Here's another, see if you like it better ![]() Here's one of the desaturated ones (assumes a flame retardant position for posting more than one picture in PAD)

As it was my little munchkin's first birthday today, I couldn't resist posting his Birthday Toast as my pic of the day!

Re: Photo-a-day
Thanks, spent ages creeping up on it
Bob's spot on with the dof comment though. This is with a DCR 250, VERY narrow dof, practising with it all the time. Was very interested in the flower bed I was digging ![]()

& icanhazburger
Good stuff capturing a fox. I tried to get a photo of a fox sitting by the roadside watching the traffic (his head was moving with the cars), but as soon as I stepped out of the car 200 metres down he darted away. Nice expression on the fox too. |

Re: Photo-a-day
I think the brick texture and shooting through a dirty window was asking a bit much of my A70, but at least the camera seems to take pictures quickly enough
