Re: Photo-a-day
I haven't got a lens long enough for decent candids (at least, that's what I keep telling the wife, while muttering '70-200 2.8...70-200 2.8...' under my breath) and the kids are just too camera aware for my 85mm, particularly at such close crops....
Nice shot, you can tell he'll be pleased with that....is he squinting a little, or is that just normal for him? Up the contrast a touch, even if it's only on the suit? Stoo ..... great shot! Lovely colours, DOF spot on, nice bokeh.....what lens? Last edited by IBM; 01-06-2008 at 07:59 AM.. |

Re: Photo-a-day
Messing with my D40, macro mode is quite fun! The bugger kept flying off
![]() Taken with the kit lens. Might have been an idea to increase the DOF a bit more, but i was shooting from the hip (foot more like) and it was a bit hard to tell ![]()

Re: Photo-a-day
very neat finish up there...better than I could do tbh. whats the basic process? careful use of clone and patch tool?
Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?

Re: Photo-a-day
cheers guys, not 100% happy with it, but client thought it was fantastic..
yeah thats pretty much it, clone tool to get rid of the majority of zits and then patch tool to add the texture |
