    Is it just me?

Or is this sub forum way less active than it used to be?

    No monthly comps

    Very few posts nowerdays

A genral lack of enthusiasm in comparison to last year

Did somthing happen I'm not aware of? Is there some other forum people prefere to frequent now for digital art/photography?

Or am I being silly and over sensitive....

I think the forum has died down however out of all the forums on hexus I think this ones content is probably the most worth while and thought through.

far less idiots with pointless posts, more real enthusiasts offering interesting comment and advice.

    It is Inevitable.....

I agree with the content although I don't tend to visit many other sub forums here. I too would prefere less and more valid conent over lots and spammy, but I just pine for what I can only refere to now it would seem as "The good ol days"

I know that Nick wanted to hand over the responsibility for the competitions to someone else, as he was too busy, but has anyone actaully taken over yet or expressed interest in doing so?

I know I haven't posted in here for ages, but I haven't really been able to get out and about with the camera recently. I'm working 7 days a week atm, which leaves little time for anything else.

I still keep my eyes open though, and as soon as I get the chance, there's at least a dozen locations near by where I know there are some good photos to be had.

'cause I've become massively busy I'm afraid...in a good way but still got really busy and couldn't guarentee my reliability which wouldn't have been fair on you guys
My photography has leap forwards in the past year, taking some decent commissions including a couple of weddings I'm doing solo later on this year (told you things are busy) I'm no longer amateur... saddly leaves little time to do more than pop by to check people are getting on fine.
As mentioned by others, I think this is possibly the best area of hexus for a number of reasons - don't get me wrong I think there are excellent sections that are necessary such as the help sections etc. but the photography/creative section is, as far as I can tell, thriving since its inception not too long ago. There's now a place on Hexus where people can discuss and share their creations - photography or otherwise. this has become an ideal area to further expand ideas and request advice on technique or buying, similarly there have been occasions when we've been witnesses to some great artwork and music/media creations. It seems many people have the capacity to shoot and stick up digital images, which tends to bias this section towards a photographical end...and I've no probs with that!
I know there's many capable photographers around here and some are really improving, thanks in no small part to the advice given from other members...bit of give and take eh, all good. So, this place might seem a bit quiet right now but life is a bit of up and down at times, it'll probably be incredibly busy round here when every one's back from their holidays, I'm exhausted from pictures of rain...could do with some sun

Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?

no probs, I tend to update my blog mainly since that tends to reach more people rather than posting a-la-forums. plus people can always leave comments/contact details there for me to pick up and get back to them...
