Talking Unreals sketchbook and bigger art pieces (Even more pics :D)

Rather than overkill the other thread with pure overloaded frequency of images, I'll keep all the sketchbook/larger pieces of art here. So you'll find mostly drawings and canvas work...

I would sell most of these if I could but they're small so I guess no one really wants these Big pieces are mostly taken

As mentioned before, some pieces of this may contain nudity and such but they're done respectfully and artistically and there are no photographs of any such content.

    Right lets get started!

My attempt at a photorealistic drawing of Timbaland (yes, his head is really shaped like that)

Quick sketch of Rodin's The Thinker (went to the exhibition, it was awesome =D)

Pen only drawing of The Age of Bronze... looks like an ancient Head & Shoulders advert

    Nude female pen drawing

Cover of my sketchbook in white spraypaint

Two pieces of Rodins work in pen

Two random doodles, I love the way the backs of women curve and things

Fictional face... I did this because I was playing with a new technique I thought up of... basically you wrap the end of a pencil heavily in tape so theres these huge flat sides, then dip it in paint and 'draw' with it, so you only draw with the paint. It involves a lot of dipping onto the pallette and mixing colours about but it's incredibly fun and leaves a distinct look.

My quick drawing of Pablo Picasso ;o

Drawing of an old womans face, she had her boobs out and everything so I thought I would just give the face a good old drawing instead.

Large wall spraypaint of Keri Hilson... sorta lifesize too I guess

    Multi-angle life drawing study

    And then from another angle

Life drawing foot and hand study with pens

    General life study with pen, but with a huuuuuuge critical error - the fun about drawing with pen is that once you mess something up, you can't do much else ;_;

I tried to do a very quick sketch but I paid the price

    Detailed life drawing studies

One of my favourite life drawing pen sketches... don't know how I didn't mess this one up

The sketch for the Kew Gardens poster I put on the other thread

Diluted inks life drawing, I love that hand pose

The first bit of the Timbaland spray in my garden, just trying out the light tone stencil

The complete Timbaland stencil after it was done. If you cannot detail it properly from the picture, it is the producer Timbaland playing the keys with his headphones on....

The Che Guevara style stencil I did in my garden

    There's the stencil, took a while to cut out ;_;

Quick pencil drawing from some photo of an artist

Part of a study for a larger piece, taken a photo on my phone of my friends hand and just mapped it out

Original photo somewhere on Deviantart looked so good that I just couldn't resist.

    First ever drawing I've sold

Did it for the back really, wish I did the face now

Copied it from an old picture back from the Da Vinci days

Used the Keri stencil I created to paint instead to see what it looked like

The clean Keri spraypaint, no overspray, no random sprays or edits - just straight to paper.

Oversprayed Keri on purple sugar paper

This was a test piece to test how my black acrylic spray reacted and dried on different colours of acrylic paint on canvas.

Same thing but on plain canvas with the primer

I had a load of these style pieces but they got stolen

My Art Foundation Final-Major-Project piece on 7" x 4" canvas... the iPod was there for the scale of the piece. It's Jesus shooting the devil, probably an ideal poster for a great action filled Jesus movie, like JESUS 2 - THE REVENGE OF JESUS or something lol.

Jesus stencil on a prepainted acrylic background

The large canvas before I sprayed the stencils on. It took ages to make that itself....

Remember that female fictional woman I did in black and white nearer to the beginning of this thread? I used that technique for this wide canvas piece that now sits in my room above my bed :3.

    Random anatomical sketches

Da Vinci, one of my favourite legends...

Elisha Cuthbert without the mouth ;D

Old architectual sketches with dip-inks and pencil

    Even More

This was my favourite out of the lot

    St. Pauls I think? *Shrugs*

Wine bottle with all the reflections

My little attempt at Banksy's piece, this is when I first discovered his art and was trying things out for myself to see what it was like (which is awesomely fun)

My first part of trying things out for myself... I used Banksy's famous piece of the dude throwing flowers but I replaced it for an iPod, which isn't really clear but I couldn't think of anything better =D

The stencil stuck on orange paper, after multiple use. I love how it looks...

One of my most favourite music producers in the world right now, Nate 'Danjahandz' Hills...

    Random anatomical studies

    Neck anatomical studies

This was my first tryout for these new inks I bought, I love them but they cost quite a bit :,<

Painted a large piece of paper in wild colours and painted Keri in white. Thing is, the effect that this has is less recognisability because the light tones are swapped with the dark ones.

I painted some splotches of white spray for added effect

And then drew all around and inside Keri with ink pen to finish up

    Stencil with black backdrop =D

My work area, most of the stuff on those walls got stolen Argh I loved them too

Intentionally messy piece that has a bit more roughness to it

    Quick sketchbook drawings

    I love mid-sport pictures =D

We had to think up of some imaginary thing for movement... I thought up of that for some reason.

My two tone piece of a very famous photograph of a woman mourning the death of her relative

I drew this from a fashion photograph

Can't really see it but it's kinda poo anyway lol

Quick sketch, I loved the amount of detail the original image had on the females back

Messing around with the plan for my exam

    Some of the brainstorming

    More playing around but the pen thing on the face REALLY messed it up ;_;

    More messing around

This was some card I layed down on the floor in purpose while doing spraypainting with diluted acrylic... I didn't know what the drops would come out like but I really love them ^_^

Part of this new sketch/illustrative style I adopted of a 1 min light sketch highlighting dark/light tones of a face (as you would with a spray stencil, for example) and then watercolouring it in nice colours with LOTS of water, and then randomly using a dip-ink pen to finish it off around the edges while there is still a lot of water.

Kate Moss in the same style

My favourite one out of the pieces, I got the idea to do it as quick as possible so there is lots of water left so I could tip it upwards to let it dry, then all the watercolours would drip down... I loved the effect.

    First one I did of this was better but I spilled ink all over it so it got ruined... so I had to do it again ;_;

Cover of one of my sketchbooks

    Cover of another sketchbook :3

Playing around with different colours and brown/amber ink

The idea for a canvas piece I did

And that's the canvas piece! ;D I really enjoyed how it came out with the mixed colours but it was quite a long and tedious piece to do

Sketchbook randoms and ramblings after getting inspiration from an urban artist

    Even moar!

My version of the original on the right

Some early ideas for what I should do for my FMP exam

    ...one of which spawned this;

    More random ideas

Concept for the inside-outside project we had, I was going to have a beautiful elegant woman undressing her skin as if they were beautiful garments and it was completely normal.

Some explanation behind the whole Keri series of spraypaints

Thanks a lot for viewing folks Hope some people out there enjoyed the e-exhibition lol!

All questions and comments are very welcome!!

Three styles of yours i really like. The pen sketches, even with their flaws are good. The spray stecil in great. But the two of the fictional woman with that pen/paint technique are really really good.

BTW, i know what you mean about females backs

This one reminds me of some Dylan Lisle stuff, where the womans face is hidden. Although he uses oils and ends up with somethin that is almost photographic. I like the pencil sketching too.

I enjoyed going through that lot, good work man. Makes me wish I had the skills and patience to draw.

Double kudos on the Jason Kidd sketch too.
