Frames?
As per usual i've ended up bring back some paintings from my holiday, this time however i'm in desperate need for some frames, one including a rather nice A2 canvas. However i'm after something nice for and suitible for the image, two tone, and wondering if anyone has any suggestions on where to get a frame that large for not stupid money.
I like simple clean designs if that helps. TiG

Re: Frames?
I agree with Magnus, my son worked in a framers for a couple of years and always got me far superior results by doing custom framing. An experienced framer (Guild Commended perhaps) will have experience to offer the right colour scheme and mount sizes to enhance the image.

Re: Frames?
I've just put in a £300+ order with these guys
http://www.canvasrepublic.co.uk/canv...canvas_art.htm They do a 12x12 canvas print for £19.99, which is bloody good value for money, and I've got my fingers crossed that the quality is up to scratch. And for custom frames, I use www.frame-express.net, again, very cheap, wonderful frames (especially the dark wood ones) and have a great tool for choosing mountboard and have it cut to order. They have a huge selection of stock sizes too. |

Re: Frames?
Got the canvas frames through yesterday, and I've got to say I'm very impressed. They took longer to arrive than expected, but they're of sturdy build quality with very good (at least to my eyes) print quality. I'll post up a couple of pictures in a bit and you can see for yourselves.
