DSLR noob alert!
I apologise in advance for the numerous questions I am bound to be asking over the next few.... weeks (probably months!)
I have taken quite a few test shots today with my new DSLR. When I downloaded them onto my PC, most have been taken as JPEG files, but a few have been taken as RAW... and I don't know why or what I did that changed it! ![]() |
![]() I've had a lot of sobering thoughts in my time.... It was them that started me drinking. |

Re: DSLR noob alert!
Some tools for you Sair
![]() Microsoft RAW Thumbnail viewer Picasa (photo library management, simple alterations and RAW conversion. Not the best but free) Canon Europe - Digital Photo Professional I can't remember exactly where in the menu the option is, but it's in the quality setting menu to change back to JPEG. EDIT: Ah, well reminded Menthel. The Auto/preset modes on the Canons don't save in RAW, the manual and semi manual ones do (P, Av, Tv, etc) |
