Kodak warranty
I brought a camera back in March as a present for someone. We tested it at the time and it seemed to work fine, it's not been used since then until she went on holiday and tried to use it and the camera just will not turn on. We have tried various different types of batteries for it to see whether it was just that the batteries were not powerful enough but this has not helped.
I know I brought the camera from Argos as I've found the purchase on my bank statement but can not find the receipt anywhere. I have looked on Kodak's website and from the wording of what I can find it appears that their warranty is not valid unless the product has been purchased in the US or Canada. Just a shot in the dark to see if anyone has dealt with Kodak's warranty policy before and knows whether there is any chance that a product purchased in England can be covered under their warranty? |

If you manage to find the recipt then you can take it back to argos but without your goind to have to do it through kodak i think. (it may involve having to send the camera to america though [thats the way it sounds from your post]....) |

Re: Kodak warranty
Outside the United States
In countries other than the United States, the terms and conditions of this warranty may be different. Unless specific Kodak warranty is communicated to the purchaser in writing by a Kodak company, no warranty or liability exists beyond any minimum requirements imposed by law, even though defect, damage, or loss may be by negligence or other act. |
