Before you send, a Warning...
Just to clarify something to everyone in case they think its a good idea, please read section 9 in this link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/terms/
what you will see is that if you sent a publication-worthy image off to the good people at the beeb, you'd get sweet f-all for it, in fact they'd be making money out of your hard work instead. So, I'd personally avoid entering any competition unless the terms used differ from these specifics. ye've been warned...on ye go
Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?

This is the same for just about every photo competition out there. There was one in our local paper a few months ago for a "Top of the range digital camera" (it was actually a 350D, might be a good camera, but in truth it was the bottom of the range dSLR).
I decided not to enter. |
