    Some 'new' equipment

Yup, mate of mine didnt want it, so I bought it

Only a fuji s5000, quite old really, but for 50 quid, and it comes with a 1.5x tele converter, makes it upto 15x optical zoom

Just need some batteries to feed it now

Its my first proper camera, something to get me used to some settings and things, after really getting a thirst for photography and only having my phone. Upgrading to something like a canon powershot S3IS sometime next spring, and probably moving onto DSLR maybe later on next year.

Anyone got any experience or tips with this camera? I know fuji are quote known for image noise, but I could probably reduce that using PS.

I just had the camera set to auto to be honest, and the room was quite dark, so I just put the flash on.

The batteries were limited during that,as I said it was the first time I had used and had borrowed the batteries off my grandad, so didnt have much time to play around with the settings. Hopefully when I get more time, I will be able to adjust them when I know a little more about it. Thanks for telling me

    Yep, needs plenty batteries....

I had the 602Pro for a while before going onwards and upwards to my Nikon D70, and I really enjoyed some of the Fuji features, esp the super macro.

I've probably forgotten more than I ever knew about how to use it mind !!

Have fun, as as stated, no flash with portraits !!

    Cheers, David Harris
