Looks quite good, and is fairly cheap.
Cheaper here: http://www.techstore.co.uk/browse.ph...odLineID=83906 What are you wanting it for? It should be fine for lightweight cameras, but I would want something a little sturdier if adding different lenses to a DSLR.

It's also a bit on the short side (for me at 6'3" anyway), esp for non camcorder apps. A camcorder is OK cuz you can tilt the viewing screen, but a DSLR/SLR/Compact digicam may suffer from low height. I'd also go for something a bit heavier for the latter uses.
Manfrotto / Velbon / Culmann are always good bets, but it's horses for courses... What do you want to do with it ?
Cheers, David Harris

take a look at the velbon luxi range. small and light with pretty decent working range. I'd recommend the "ULTRA-LUXi-F", decent head and wider tubing (more stable)
http://www.velbon-tripod.com/ultra_maxi.htm can be found on fleabay onthe cheap sometimes too
Please, Don't ask for that one 'as a desktop'...its really not worth wasting your time asking, unless you're able to pay £££?
