HP Photosmart 2575
These printers are going to be half price in the PC World Boxing day sale. Has anyone had any experience with using them. I will be wanting to print out my digital pictures.

some feedback here about it:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Photosmart-P.../dp/B000ANH03M My brother's got / getting the Epson R360 for Christmas for photos... I'm not a big fan of HP due to the cost of cartridges which are normally around £18, whereas you can get cartridges for Canon and Epson printers for £2.

Really? I knew I was paying over the odds for HP cartidges, but that's plain nuts.
I've got a HP PSC 2510 which is cracking. Switch out the (very expensive) black cartridge for an (equally expensive) photo one, and the print quality is excellent, and the 2510 is a couple of years old. Add in the fact that it's a copier, scanner and fax (not the 2575 I understand), and it's a great bit of kit. If I was buying another multifunction I'd probably go for something with multiple paper trays, and a paper feeder for the copier. It's cheaper to get your pics printed online....and you should really think about how much it's going to cost to run. |

I've got a Photosmart 27xx (cant be bothered to walk downstairs
) and its been great - this appears to be its little brother. I've always liked HPs, and though the ink is expensive, they work well, and last ages - I'm still running a Deskjet 930C at uni - must be 7 or 8 years old at a rough guess...
