Sell it. Beyond economic repair, and next time don't buy a Fiat Punto.

    its a 53 plate 2004 model 3door 8v and 1.242
electric windows, central locking, front back wipers, manual (no gear box issue at all)..
its done 92000, i had a it for 3 months till this crap happened

i was told ecu is at fault, someone i know mentioned it can be repaired all they do is solder something inside it and then it lasts for abot a year to 6 months,...a new one would cost 400,...i aint got time and pounds to fix it....with the ecu, it sounds like something is stuck in the exaust, thats the sign,...so i would have to rev more to get the car moving,....so i think its worn out the clutch plates....so a full clutch will be needed, checked online and im getting a cheap price from up north for 55pounds...not bad, its 60plus here in london.....fuel pump switch is an issue connected with ecu,.....everytime i start it i have to press the switch when its turning over and it will then stay started...........

    Re: hi

And you want £1000 for a 7 year old car with by the looks of it a vast number of problems?

    I cant see that happening.
