Nah, the driveshaft and input shaft seals aren't that bad. Just take em out, take out the seals, put new ones in and reinsert the driveshafts. 3 spanners out of 5. So a garage should be able to do it ok. The Selector Shaft Seal is a bitch though - requires disassembly, but i doubt its that. So i am guessing i am looking for 2-3 hours labour (thats 25+ vat each)+10-20 quid for seals and 20 quid for oil. so thats about 100-130 quid... This is getting annoying now as i spent about that much to get the mot two weeks ago... Ah well, its 10 years old...

Two seals at the inboard driveshaft ends and £123.81 later it took its place on the new driveway. It was the gearbox leaking and i think now that a litre of new oil is in place the gearchanges are better.
