Peugeot 306 help

Well the other day for some random reason i got in my peugeot turned the engine over and the air bag light started to flash , so stopped the car turned it off and i havent seen it since but also when i have the internal heater on it seems to stop and start blowing at random times not that good if you live in the uk with the crappy weather
ohh also my gearbox seems to have gone heavy when changing gear

any help would be greatly appreciated

My Diagnosis: Silly little Peugeot, trade it in for something German imediatly.


Joking aside, I'm no mechanic, I just wanted to get my VAG plug in.

try looking here for the 306 club... the gearbox could be a linkage problem??

I'd find out about anything safety feature related pretty sharpish. Even if it involves the main dealer.

With the gearbox, is it just when you first start or constant?

As for the heater thing. It's french

it seems to be when the car has been travelling for about a mile ish lol never really noticed when it starts just when it happens

Heater matrix isnt expensive to repair - but its an absolute [insert curse here] to replace, as the whole dashboard has to come out. Heater matrix is a common issue although not sure entirely with the odd blast of heat.
