    Wink My naughty 106....

Hi chaps - hoping you's can help me with a few little probs with my naughty car...

I have a 106 diesel runaround (L reg) which has started playing me up a little. I'm happy to take it to the garage to get fixed but of course, don't want to get ripped off nor end up paying more than the actual car's worth!

    1. Temp/Oil light - these keep flashing red every now and then when I'm driving (usually when I brake of go up a hill). I have checked the water and oil and all OK and topped up but this is still happening. Does this just mean that the electrics are dodgy or is it something more sinister??

    2. Noisy wheel - After driving for about 10 minutes (ie when the car is warmed up), there is a high pitched whistling/ squealing noise that seems to be coming from the front of the car (I've had the fan belt done). When I open the window is sounds like it's the front right wheel tho I could be wrong. Some people have said it could be the wheel bearings - if so, is this expensive to fix??

    3. Noisy brakes - this has only just started happening and again, is not all the time. Sometimes when I brake after driving for a while it's pretty noisy/ grindy although the car had new brakes back in November to pass its MOT (before I bought it) - what do u reckon?

Much appreciate your help on this
