    Best PS2 Car Games?

I've got GT3, GT4, Burnout 3, and recently made the mistake of buying Gumball 3000 I've also got the Getaway but don't like playing this kind of game on a console (due to the trying to aim at people and missing bit).

What other good car games are there?

I've played NFSMW on the PC and completed it, and didn't like the demo of Carbon.

    Is Flatout 2 good?

I like CMR3, and 5 but already have them on the PC
I like realism (like GTR4 and CMR5) and like destruction (like burnout3). I think GTR4 combined with CMR5s realism when it comes to car bits falling off would make a perfect game.

    Any suggestions?

    Josh

play gt4 more is all i can suggest. try some cars out you havent yet, finding the perfect car for a certain race, or the best power/weight in a class.

so much to do, i can drive around tsukuba for hours just finely teaking a car then looking at the graph to see where im gaining and losing time.

I had a feeling that all other car games would pale into insignificance in relation to GT4

I just wish the cars got damaged in it.

Took gumball 3000 back and got Midnight Club 3 Dub Edition (remix!) - it's quite good very much like NFSMW.

If GT4 had AI, damage simulation and cars that can flip it would be perfect.

Bit of a bummer thats they stripped it down a lot for the PS2 but still a good game.

Quite arcade like but good fun online

If you can, get yourself a steering wheel - they add a whole new dimension to driving games!

Agreed! It also means you have to learn how to drive all the cars and circuits again which can be very challenging but fun, means you can waste a whole load of time on it all over again

NFS Underground 2 would be a nice game to play now after such a long time.
    I have heard about Juiced 2. I don't know how's it though.

I would recommend burnout revenge but tbh its pretty similar to burnout 3... so if you like destruction i would get twisted metal black, its not quite a driving game, more like demolition derby with guns

Hey, I lways wondered why Twisted Metal Black is so famous. I guess you can best tell me about it. So what's so interesting about this game? Thanks.

    Re: Best PS2 Car Games?

Need for speed underground is a pretty good racing game, in this game you can customize your car and take it to the streets. While the game has a deep single player mode, the multiplayer keeps is Fast and Furious styled racer from charging up the list.
