I can't take this anymore, I have had it with MW2.
I pre-ordered the game nearly 3 years ago , paid £38 for it and Tesco+Sainsburys started selling it for £25 within 2 days of the launch date.

But, the game has been rife with cheats for quite sometime now and IW didn't do jack. But, still I continued on with MW2 as you could still get matches where there were no cheats. But, now, every match you join ,someone or a group starts a killfest - Harrier , Chopper Gunner, AC130 and then Nuke - all over in 5 mins. You can't stand up against the cheats by using your Riot shield or the Cold Blooded perk.

I played for an hour yesterday and it was the same story in every match! Time to sell off this game!

I remember a similar experience with COD4 as well I did buy MW3 after it came out but the maps are so messy and badly designed that I sold the game after a day

Can someone recommend me another online game similar to MW2 but one that isn't a cheatfest ?

There are a fair few dodgy folk on but in all fairness after seeing my brother play who I would consider to be a fairly good player, I'd personally find it hard to distinguish between cheats and legit players.

HQ match starts. Within seconds, there's a harrier followed by a chopper gunner followed by an AC130and then ultimately a nuke and game over in 5 mins. A HQ match lasts 20 mins. And, yes, they are cheating. It's not possible to get 50 kills while dying only once!

I've played MW3 games where there have been obvious cheaters, it doesn't take a genius to work out someone is cheating.

For CoD4 on the PC at least I don't run into that many cheaters, but when people are cheating its easy to spot those cheating, tracing through walls, pre-firing massively before someone comes around the corner, random wall bangs to places people usually wouldn't hide. Yes sometimes it is luck, but when it happens round upon round then that's when it becomes clear.

I was thinking BF3 would be best for him, you get less kids on there and the dev stomps all over cheaters. It is definately more for a mature audience.

Another good one for multiplayer is Homefront, sure I have mentioned it in the past. You get some decent users on that as its not as popular as the big titles.

I do agree with abaxas, but clearly in this particular case it is null and void, it as as OilSheikh says near impossible to get them kill streak rewards within that time frame.

But abaxas has a perfectly good point I know a few gamers whom I have played with and I am sure many of you might of had similar situations where they have accused me of cheating. So yes in certain games and scenarios it would be your own fault if you were dying too often, however in other unfortunate circumstances it isn't your fault and the cheaters need a nuke dropping on them.

Ferral, ah yes, you did mention Homefront. I am so busy now with Ace combat : Fires of liberation, HALO Reach and Batman Arkham city that I haven't had the time. Still got Syndicate and SSX on my list.... can't believe I was asking a few weeks ago if there were any games to play.

BF3! I would say Medal of Honor, but the multiplayer can be great at times but extremely poor at others

battlefield 3 is worth playing i havent experienced any cheaters on steam or ps3

I used to play cod a lot, but also gave up because of cheaters. During one game there was this guy who sucked but never got killed. At one point we surrounded him and started shooting at him. There were like 7 guys shooting shotguns at him and he wouldn't drop. Game ended with him having maximum kills and zero deaths. And he sucked big time.
Also, one time I got on this cracked server and all of the sudden my status went to maximum and every item was unlocked. I never asked for this to happen. Just went on some random server...
Then I started playing Battlefield and fell in love with that game. A lot less cheating. More realism and better graphics too. It took me a while to make the transfer because it feels very different from cod.
After a few months of playing BF3 I decided to play another game of cod. Turns out I had been banned and can no longer start the game. Something about html error. Probably due to the fact my account was hacked after logging on to that cracked server. At first I was pissed about it. I hate cheaters, and then they ban me for accidentally getting on that hacked server! So now I'm addicted to BF3 and won't be buying any cod games anymore...
