    this is a q6600 5 mins after start up if your telling me it's pulling 30% load of the psu i'll laugh it has a 6870 in it

    ok just stuck it on the wifes pc .. and as you can see the fan is flying ..
    wether this is due to all the glue on the inside I don't know ..but it won't be helping ..

    Can you tell me the part # on the PSU's label itself? Is it CMPSU-850TXV2? or is it CP-9020043?

    cant you just send a different psu ? as all these tx's have been bad .. does not bode well for putting in a pc

    That PSU is actually working as intended. That V2 version does not have the "0 RPM Fan Mode" so the fan will run at the lowest RPM at no load which I saw on that video. The noise was fairly reasonable, so I don't think the fan was running at a high RPM at all. IIRC, you didn't like the V1 so our customer service sent you the V2.

    And sorry, no, we can only send you the TX series. The one that you have right now is good.
