so I put down that I don't want to give up on corsair and say that I have some corsair components in other pc's
as in 2xssd 2x 4x4gb mem another tx 750 unit ..and I get the response of ..
"f you've purchased other Corsair items in the past 2 years, I'd suggest uploading receipts for those and responding back and I'll see if anything can be done for a repeat customer."
can I ask if anyone else keeps receipts for 3 yrs or more ?

well got the new psu .. a tx850 (2008 model ) not even a v2 ...
now do you think that this is going any where near my pc .. with the failure rate of the old tx ..

Looks like the V2 version shipped out this morning. I've replied in your ticket with the tracking info.
got the v2 to find the psu fan to be full pelt all the time .. yes corsair have been great .. but if the next one don't work i'll just bin it and move on ..

Sorry about that flearider.. I am getting this sorted out with our customer service. More updates to come in your ticket
so the tx850 fan should not run unless there is high temp or power draw of 30% or more
so before I put this in I did a check with a power cross over block (like the paper clip method)..
and to my surprise .. you guessed it the fan was spinning at 100% speed .. with no load and no heat ..
so now utterly peeved off my 750 was fine fan wise never heard it is it because it's an eu psu ?? there power being different to ours ..
really corsair why keep on sending me dud psu's
from ram guy on corsair forums... "The fan will not turn on unless there is about 40-50% load and or the Temp inside reaches about 49 Deg C. "
so test one and send me it out .. one that works as it should ..

Like what I have mentioned in your RMA ticket. Put the PSU in a system and let me know if the fan behavior is the same.
