Packard Bell EasyNote - wireless
Hi,
My neighbour has a small problem with their laptop. Much against my recommendation they went a bought a Packard Bell laptop and now have a little problem. When they turn the machine on, sometimes the wireless turns it's self off. (i guess for power save) Then when they try to connect to their wireless it cant find any access points. So they have to press "FN" key and "F2" to turn the wireless back on. Then it works..... Is there a way to get the machine to keep the wireless on all the time? Couldn't see any settings in power save. Thanks Darren |

Re: Packard Bell EasyNote - wireless
^ Yup.
Using XP as an example - right click My Computer, Properties, Hardware, Device Manager, Network Adapters, select adapter, right click, properties, Power Management tab, deselect "Allow the computer......turn off....etc" |
