    Corsair VX550W

    Corsair VX550W Power Supply Review Oklahoma Wolf helped me out last year in choosing a psu. This new unit looks pretty good. Not sure what £ & when it will appear in uk yet.

    According to Dabs - within a couple of days. EDIT - now one to two weeks but only about £8 dearer than the 450VX - seems a good buy

    Received mine from dabs a couple of weeks ago. Purchased it based on the review. Seems like a good power supply. It's not silent, but is reasonably quiet.

    they should be practically inaudible unless you're loading it near capacity

    The psu fan is the only fan in my case. The only other noise is from the samsung hard drive. So in a near silent setup like mine it will be audiable. If I had other fans in the pc, i'd probably not hear the adda fan in the corsair.
