should i wait for TX650W? looking for some advice
hi, i'm going to build a new computer very soon, and i'm looking for a good power supply for it, but i cannot decide between waiting for the upcoming TX650W or just buy a HX520W right now, because i've no idea how will TX650W be, will there be some fundamental improvements over HX series? or it will be just a modular-less version of HX series?
personally, i'm looking for a power supply with, - really good voltage regulation, low ripple, and clean output - good quality of components inside (capacitors, transistors, ...) - total output is not a factor, cause my new system will not consume more than 400W - modular is not a factor, i'm happy with either modular or fixed cables what should i do? shall i buy a HX520W right now? or i should wait for the upcoming TX650W? thanks for advice!  |

The TX series is slightly different in design. However, there is no significant difference internally that makes either better than the other, both are great. Since modular does not matter, I would base it on price. If my opinion matters, I'd go with the modular HX 520 as it is plenty of wattage.
