Re: Corsair TX650W mini review and some feedback

Well... I ripped my Tagan out and replaced it with the corsair and timed myself in the process (don't ask lol)

PC is now functional again, and all I can say is "Silence is upon thee" even more than what it was with the Tagan. I'll not get moaned at now from the other half when she stops over and my PC is left on while I go to sleep as there is really no audible noise, well apart from the fans in the case.

Thanks for the review, think I'm going to go for this one aswell... I'll be getting the GTX260, don't think that will have any problems with the connectors, I hope =p

did you sneeze or something while taking that final image?
it seems like it's rather blurred

    nice PSU though
hopefully provide a more stable voltage for an even better overclock on that RAM

I took it over 5 times, that was the best I could get!
Flash or lights inside were causing it to get screwed up I guess....

Ended up getting it from Dabs.com, was about 20p cheaper and delivered next working day (should have seen the size of the box!).

To be honest this psu hasn't done anything for my system. I got this after i had to reduce my fsb from 400 to 333 (3.6 to 3.1ghz) prior to upgrading to a hd4850 from a 7300gs. With the 4850 installed system wont boot anything above 333fsb whilst with the 7300 it would be fine up to about 450fsb. Previous psu was 380w antec earthwatts.

    Can anyone help?

    ....

You shoulda really got it from Scan. They're the only ones that will forward the PSU to Corsair during it's 5 year warranty. Dabs probably wont as all the times I've had to RMA they just point me in the Manufacturers direction and tell me to contact them. Their own RMA times weren't good for me either

Re: Corsair TX650W mini review and some feedback

Corsair's RMA is good, so there is no problem with doing it directly
Ebuyer would probably refund me 100% of what I paid if anything goes wrong in the 5 years anyway
(which is better than RMA'ing to scan anyway )

GT-R, not sure about what you are saying. Why not make a new thread as more people will see it and its not really relevant to this thread...
